Every project follows our proven 9-step process:

  • Consultation — Free on-site visit to discuss your vision, assess the property, and understand your budget.
  • Site Assessment — Evaluation of grading, drainage, soil, and existing structures.
  • Design — Custom plans with 3D renderings so you can visualize the finished space.
  • Proposal — Detailed scope, materials, timeline, and transparent pricing.
  • Material Selection — Showroom visits to choose pavers, stone, fixtures, and finishes.
  • Scheduling & Permitting — We coordinate all permits and inspections.
  • Construction — Professional installation with regular updates and clean work sites.
  • Walkthrough — Final inspection to ensure every detail meets your expectations.
  • Follow-Up — Warranty support and post-project care.

Timelines vary by project scope. A patio or walkway installation typically takes 1 to 2 weeks. A pool construction project ranges from 6 to 12 weeks depending on the type and site conditions. Complete outdoor living spaces — combining a pool, patio, outdoor kitchen, and landscaping — may take 2 to 4 months. We provide a specific timeline in your proposal and keep you updated throughout construction.

Every project is custom, so costs depend on scope, materials, and site conditions. As a general reference: paver patios typically start around $15,000, in-ground pool projects start around $50,000, and complete outdoor living transformations can range from $75,000 to $250,000 or more. We provide detailed, transparent proposals with no hidden fees. Contact us for a free on-site estimate.

We use a range of premium materials including natural stone, concrete pavers, brick, segmental block, and manufactured stone veneers. We are an authorized EP Henry contractor — EP Henry is one of the leading manufacturers of concrete pavers, retaining wall systems, and outdoor living products in the Mid-Atlantic region. Their products are known for durability, color consistency, and extensive design options. We are also three-time EP Henry Contractor of the Year (2011, 2012, 2013).

We hold multiple industry certifications and awards:

  • EP Henry Authorized Contractor
  • EP Henry Veteran Contractor
  • EP Henry Contractor of the Year — 2011, 2012, and 2013
  • ICPI Certified (Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute)
  • NCMA Accredited (National Concrete Masonry Association)

Our work has also been featured in Aqua International magazine, Landscape Contractor magazine, and on the television show Designing Spaces. Learn more on our about page.

We build three types of in-ground pools: fiberglass, vinyl liner, and concrete (gunite). Fiberglass pools offer fast installation and low maintenance. Vinyl liner pools provide design flexibility at a lower cost. Concrete pools allow for fully custom shapes and finishes. We also build pool-integrated features like waterfalls, grottos, swim-up bars, and beach entries. Learn more on our pool construction page.

Yes. We partner with HFS Financial to offer financing for qualified projects. HFS connects you with multiple lenders competing for your business, so you can compare rates and terms. The application process is quick and does not affect your credit score. Visit our financing page to learn more or start an application.

Yes. We create photorealistic 3D design renderings for most projects, allowing you to visualize the finished space before any construction begins. This helps you see how materials, colors, and layouts will look on your actual property. It also allows you to make changes and adjustments before breaking ground — saving time and avoiding surprises.

Yes. Evergreen Hardscaping is fully licensed and insured in all four states we serve: Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland. We carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. We are happy to provide documentation upon request.

Our tree care division is led by Sergei Dorno and includes tree removal, tree trimming and pruning, stump grinding, lot clearing, and emergency storm damage response. We serve residential and commercial properties across all four states. Having tree care in-house means we can handle complete property transformations — removing trees, grading the site, and building the hardscape — without involving outside contractors. Yes. We manage all necessary permits and coordinate required inspections as part of our project management process. Permit requirements vary by municipality and project type — pools, retaining walls over a certain height, and electrical work for lighting and kitchens typically require permits. We handle the paperwork and scheduling so you do not have to.

We build year-round, though the most popular time to start outdoor living projects in our region is late winter through early spring. Starting your design and planning in January or February means construction can begin as soon as weather permits and your project is complete by summer. Pool projects in particular benefit from early scheduling, as demand peaks in spring. That said, hardscaping, masonry, and many other services can be installed through late fall. Contact us anytime to start planning.

Absolutely. Our pool renovation services include resurfacing, vinyl liner replacement, coping and tile work, equipment upgrades, decking replacement, and complete pool makeovers. Whether your pool needs cosmetic refreshing or a full structural overhaul, we can bring it back to life and integrate it with new hardscaping, lighting, or water features.
